The US2400

The Function in the Form

One of the things we addressed was the depth of control surface dimensions. This control surface can be placed in-line with the keyboard, and in so doing, streamlines the studio workflow. Ultimately, SaneWave always tries to bring innovation to the artist's workflow in all our projects. We feel that the US2400 is a great example of this.

Simplified

The approach to the US2400 was that no analog mixer has built-in plug-in control, so why should a control surface? Trying to manipulate third-party plug-ins with a control surface can result in arbitrary function mapping and counterintuitive controls. We escaped this common trap by focusing on what a control surface is meant to do. Use the US2400 to control pots, faders, and switches.
