Of course along the way development ideas can change, which is why it is paramount to define the deliverables in detail up front in a project pricing model. We are flexible business folks that use many models. Fixed price quotes, time and materials, royalty based, and combinations of the three.

 

Legal Agreements

In any product development relationship there are many issues that require legal definitions to avoid confusion,  and there is a clear need to protect the financial and intellectual property rights of both parties.  We have drafted a Strategic Development Ageement that adresses the overall legal Issues,  while specific details of the project and payment details are covered in an attached Work Order.  With this agreement,  we can establish and define a business relationship with an organization and then add specific development projects,  as needed with additional work orders.   Since we've been through this process with large firms including Bosch,  Shure,  Harman International,  and Apple Computer,  our business experience and knowledge of our customers expectations in indemnity,  ownership,  and licensing rights makes the process of drafting and tuning agreements go smoothly.
